Well, We Really Like Business

Ruthie and Bekkah are actually sisters, believe it or not! Discussing business ideas has lead to many passionate conversations between them. In pursuing business careers of their own, they discovered that people are afraid to run a business because it seems complicated and intimidating. So, they set out on a quest to break down business in a way that would make it easy to explain to others. The podcast explores many different businesses – finding out how they are run and how to get started with the least amount of risk. Whether you’re 10 or 110, it’s never too late to turn your passion into entrepreneurship. The key is to be flexible and creative in your approach!

All about Bekkah, as told by Ruthie:

About Bekkah

Bekkah is a hard-working entrepreneur and owner of Wise Elephant Consulting. She is wife to engineer, musical genius, fix-everything-for-cheaper, and all-around swell guy, Joel, and mother of many amazing children.

Her hobbies include: crafting, pottery making, fancy food creation, and getting wildly excited when convincing others to start businesses. She is fiercely motivated and loves getting into discussions with people from all walks of life.

She is passionate about assisting others to succeed and combs the earth in search of connections and resources that could have potential use for her friends. She likes to call or text her friends at any hour and fire hose blast them with spontaneous business ideas that pop into her head. Ruthie has had a few gems of her own, including chicken nugget bracelets (like candy bracelets, but with nugs) and an ice cream shop called “Indiana Cones”.

You May Have Heard Her In Episodes 1-99

Though Ruthie has moved onto some amazing opportunities in running her own business that has a lot more regulations due to the SEC on what you’re allowed to say in a podcast (hear about it here), Bekkah is pushing forward with new weekly episodes! Because that’s what the podcast is all about, helping entrepreneurs find the right business, tools, or knowledge they need to do what they’re passionate about!

All about Ruthie, as told by Bekkah:

A selfie of RuthieRuthie is the life of every party and is hilarious. She is notorious for nicknaming people, obsessively cleaning things that will make no noticeable impact to everyone else’s ease of life (like an apartment light switch cover), and helping people with strategically planning their finances.*

Ruthie is a passionate redhead who has always has been incredibly good at connecting with people and building relationships. She is completely genuine in her love for others and cares about their personal well-being. Whenever Ruthie makes a new friend, she wants to help connect them with other awesome friends. She is excellent at convincing people to do fun things. She once got a grocery store employee who was taking out the trash to have a giant pillow fight using two sacks of recycled shopping bags.
