We do not use Facebook advertising data, including the targeting criteria for a Facebook ad, to build, append to, edit, influence, or augment user profiles, including profiles associated with any mobile device identifier or other unique identifiers that identify any particular user, browser, computer or device. Affiliate Disclosure
“businesstalksistergawk.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com, amazonsupply.com, or myhabit.com.”
Unfortunately, that’s some jargon that we had to include in our policy, but it’s in plain English from here on:
Currently our Site is an affiliate with Amazon and a publisher in the Google Adsense program so you may see some of the advertisements on the site and some of the links in my articles or on the Resources page are affiliate links which means that we’ll collect a small percentage of the sale as commission. If this is true, we will place a note in the content at the bottom of the page signifying that we have affiliate links on the page. (Also if you look at the link directory path, you can usually see if it’s an affiliate as well from what the url structure has within it. If you’re a nerd and want to know how that works, you can check it out!)
The reason that these are in place is because the small commissions add up and help support the costs to run the site and helps us feed ourselves (and Bekkah’s family) without being overly intrusive to our audience’s experience and learning on the site.
These commissions will never come at a cost to yourself and we vow that whether a particular product offers a commission or not, it will NEVER influence our recommendations or teaching material. We know that trust takes a lifetime to build but only seconds to lose, so you can rest assured that we only link to products which we have used personally, have been recommended by those we have interviewed on our podcast, and would recommend, as teachers, to our audience for the purpose of learning, building, marketing, or launching a business.
